WOOFA® - Wilderness, Outdoors & Off-grid First Aid for people and their K-9 companions
WOOFA® Course Description:
The WOOFA® course is perfect for anyone who spends time in the outdoors with their furry friends. This 2-day course was developed by James of ARC and Rick of The SCROLL by combining their extensive experience in providing medical care in austere environments. It focuses on basic emergency medicine while in wilderness or remote areas. Students will learn skills to treat humans and canines who become injured or ill while separated from immediate help or the accessibility of 911. Lectures, demonstrations, skills practice, and realistic scenarios are combined to provide participants with a robust learning experience. By the end of this course, students will have the knowledge, skills, and ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations and provide Wilderness, Outdoors & Off-grid First Aid. Come get your WOOFA® on with us!

Environmental & Medical Emergencies
Evacuation Considerations & Survival Principles
Burns, Sprains, Strains, Fractures & more…
Students will receive a WOOFA® Certification, as well as Stop The Bleed® & NAEMT FOTS® (First On The Scene, *Includes CPR/AED) certifications.
*American Red Cross certification/s (First Aid, CPR, BLS) can be added for an additional fee.
