





TFA (Tactical First Aider) Course - Multiple Dates & Locations Available
During our 4-hour TFA (Tactical First Aider) course you will learn and hone lifesaving trauma skills. This course blends the standard Stop The Bleed curriculum with more advanced medical skills, concepts, and Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) guidelines and best practices. It is First Aid designed for active threat (shooter) or other hostile environments and it is meant to provide students with the appropriate basic response necessary for the first link in the chain of survival. Bystanders and victims of an incident are often the real first responders and a vital part of saving lives. The professional responders can’t be everywhere and it is up to the people who are involved or witness an event to take immediate steps to ensure survival of any victims. The skills learned here will help you respond to incidents involving traumatic injury as well as possible safety concerns.
You will learn and practice:
Tactical Combat/Emergency Casualty Care (TCCC/TECC) and other tactical concepts and best practices to deal with casualties in a hostile/unsafe environment
MARCH Assessment and Treatment Algorithm
Rapid Triage
Bleeding Control
Airway and Respiratory management
Dragging and Carrying Casualties
Upon successful completion you will earn: TFA & Stop The Bleed Certificate, 4 hours of Con-Ed (trauma mgt./operations)
